Florida You Judge Show: Guest- Attorney Joe Episcopo

 

Tampa Bay area criminal defense attorney Joe Episcopo discusses the pending Diaco Florida Bar disciplinary case, the reports by Gloria Gomez of Fox News 13 of the problematic drug field presumptive tests, and weighs in on the recent story of Seminole Judge Frederic Schott who became visibly irate at a Seminole County prosecutor for failing to drop a charge of driving while license suspended in a case where the officer checked off that the defendant had an illegal “breath alcohol” level when in fact no breath test had been administered.

Episcopo ardently defended Hillsborough County State Attorney Mark Ober against suggestions that he committed a brady violation by only alerting the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s office and not private attorneys with pending drug cases.  Joe also highly commended Pinellas County Sheriff Gualtieri for implementing a policy of not publishing publicly booking photos of individuals arrested in Pinellas County.  Joe criticized the reaction of Seminole County Judge
